Adventure Awaits: Become a Mourne Youth Ranger!

Are you between 14 and 17 years old? Do you live in the Mourne area ? If you love the outdoors and want to make a real difference protecting these incredible natural spaces, this is your chance!

Join the Youth Rangers 2025/2026 programme – a unique opportunity to explore, learn, and connect with nature alongside other young people who share your passion. Over 10 exciting sessions, you’ll develop valuable skills in conservation, outdoor activities, and environmental stewardship.

The first six sessions will cover hands-on projects and learning experiences designed to deepen your understanding of how the Mourne AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) is cared for. The remaining sessions will be tailored based on what you and your fellow Rangers want to explore!

Plus, your hard work will be recognised through Ulster Wildlife’s Wild Youth Award — a fantastic accreditation that celebrates your commitment to nature. And if you’re working toward your Duke of Edinburgh Award, this programme could help fulfil your skills section too.
