Forever Mournes Community Events

Forever Mournes: Join us to hear about our journey so far and what lies ahead 

Since the wildfire in the Mournes in 2021, work has been ongoing to secure a long term plan for the High Mournes and its environs. Phase One of the Mournes Community Renewal Through Nature project was completed in 2023 and we have secured some funding from the @DAERA Environment Fund to start working on Phase Two. 

The Forever Mournes members (National Trust, Mourne Heritage Trust, Northern Ireland Water and Woodland Trust) are holding a number of community drop in sessions in April 2024.

10th April 2024 6.00 – 9.00 pm ​Annalong Community Centre 

23rd April 2024 6.00 – 8.30 pm ​Newcastle Centre
