We are recruiting !

We are recruiting for two roles which are expected to form part of our team until 2028, with the prospect of continuation, subject to ongoing funding.

The first will be in a new Upland Team, primarily carrying out path repair and habitat restoration works. This will, for the first time, give Mourne Heritage Trust the capacity to plan for and deliver significant year-round and long-term conservation works in and around the high Mournes, having developed our knowledge and approaches to date through shorter term projects. At least two posts are expected to be available in this specialised work, which will suit candidates with a desire to further refine good practical countryside and land management skills for deployment in an upland context.

The second role focusses on facilitating and supporting our varied environment and visitor management programmes and services. It will suit someone with good administration and interpersonal skills and knowledge of and interest in landscape management. The role provides an opportunity to work across many aspects of MHT’s work thereby contributing to delivery  of a range of conservation outcomes and helping to communicate them to our stakeholders and funders.

See below for further information and how to apply.

Closing Date for applications – Monday 16th October 2023 @ 4.00pm (by email)
